You are introduced to local guides, storytellers, myth keepers, poets, musicians and artists as we explore Celtic spirituality, wisdom and thought, through inspirational walks, creative expression, music, dance, and many other ways.
“Come away o’ human child, to the waters and the wild, with a faery hand in hand, from a world more full of weeping than you can understand.” ~ W. Yeats After your four days in “Yeats’s Country” we make our way south through County Mayo, the hills of Connemara, County Galway, and onto pristine County Clare, where you stay in a gorgeous B&B nestled on the edge of the Burren along the River Fergus.
You have another four days of inspirational walks by the ocean, in a forest, through the Burren, and along the riverside with our local “Coisceim Anama” guide. There are opportunities to visit places we love on our Wild West Irish Tours-Midwest tour as well as visiting local towns, pubs and, if weather permits, a boat ride to a mystical island.
On the 9th day we bring you back to Dublin for your flight, or you may want to visit Dublin for a day or two on your own before your journey home, refreshed and invigorated.
We design and support our Ireland trips to suit mixed abilities and varied interests—so you can set your own pace, then change things up as the day unfolds.
